My experience

I'm currently a single developer who wants to improve my own experience of the board game hobby. Not promising there will be more, but my first public tool is party.explain.games — meant for community-driven board game events.

First project

Party

Plan a game night around the games people actually own. Connect BoardGameGeek collections, organize communities and events, and know who will be at the table.

What can You do?

Create or join Your own board game community, either for everyone around You (public) or for Your friends (private)
Create a board game event for friends, a community or the public
Synchronize BGG game libraries to create a common community poll, decide what to bring to a board game event, compare with friends and see who just bought something new to play
Connect to a Discord server and publish events there
Organize games in Your own lists

Idea:

Wanted for myself printable rulebook containing all the rules with modifications (latest 3.1 with reference to what was different in other versions) and all expansions (entries for both old and new ones where difference is meaningful). Used tools to scrape wikicarpedia - anything added or changed will be based on this source.
